Professional Work

While at UVA I have helped create and transform the new website for the School of Medicine, along with three other team members. Throughout this upgrade, I wrote numerous posts for the web team, as well as email, and made the website more accessible for audience members who may need to use screen readers.

Cville Pride is the LGTBQ+ organization in Charlottesville VA. While working at UVA I met the President of Cville Pride, and was asked to aid in Instagram as well as Blog post

I was the front desk Manager at the Hampton Inn in Staunton, while I was still a student at Mary Baldwin. I learn many skills including how to manage a team, accommodate guests, and create schedules.

Internships

While here I helped solve costumer satisfaction issue, created Youtube Videos, Instagram Posts, and Even a Contest on Facebook. Having an Internship here was an incredible experience and a once in a Lifetime experience.

I taught three groups of students PFD (Public Forum Debate). Two of these sets were first year debaters and freshman in high school, one of which won State for this debate style. It was a proud achievement to mold young students into well rounded public speakers.

The Odyssey was the campus paper that I wrote a few articles for. I tackled tough topics that the school was facing and light topics such as what to do over break. It was a unique experience and lead me to do more writing later on.

While at Queen City Creative I worked on many projects including, but not limited to: Designing logos for local companies, editing children's books, and creating web banners for non-profits.
